Description
3 and 5 Albany Villas are a pair of semi-detached villas built around 1850, with a garage added in the mid to late 20th century. The buildings are constructed of stucco over brick and feature quoins, a hipped slate roof, an eaves cornice, and rendered stacks. They are designed as double pile structures with entrances located on the returns in full-height projections, and the garage addition is at No. 3. The villas are two storeys tall with a basement and consist of four bays. They have sash windows, canted bays on the ground floor, and inserted windows in the basement. Each villa has a pilaster porch that is accessed by a short flight of steps. The door to No. 3 has six raised and fielded panels, while the door to No. 5 features two moulded arch head panels, which are likely original.
