Description
The Jewish Cemetery gates and walls, located on the east side of Florence Place in Brighton, date from the late 19th century. The gates are made of wrought iron, featuring a grille pattern below and a sunburst design above. On either side of the gates are octagonal gate piers made of stucco, which are pedimented on alternate faces and topped with domes. There is a stuccoed wall extending 4 meters to the right and 3 meters to the left, both topped with corniced coping. This structure is included for its group value.
