The house has three storeys and a three-window front. A flat-arched entrance is set within an enclosed porch, the roof of which serves as a first-floor balcony enclosed by cast-iron railing. Cast-iron balconettes are set into the jambs of the first-floor windows on the left side. A flat-arched entry is also present on the left return. Chimney stacks are located on the end wall. The interior has not been inspected. Number 79 is part of a group value context with numbers 68, 69, and 73-89 Marine Parade, and with numbers 1-14 Royal Crescent.
