Description
The road bridge in the grounds of Ascot Place, located to the south of the house adjoining the Grotto, dates from the late 18th century. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and features three elliptical arches, with the central arch being the widest. Below the stone coping, there is a corbelled brick cornice, and on top of this stands a plain iron balustrade with stick balusters. This bridge is part of a garden that is listed as Grade II* in the Register of Parks and Gardens of Special Historic Interest in England.
