Description
The Sandhurst War Memorial, erected around 1921, is a war memorial featuring a limestone Latin cross. The cross includes a sword and wreath detail in relief on its front face and has a chamfered base. It stands on a tall square stone plinth, which has an inset panel on the front face, and is supported by a three-stepped base. The memorial is surrounded by a paved area that is enclosed by iron railings on three sides. The inscription on the plinth reads: "IN MEMORY OF THOSE WHO DIED FOR THEIR COUNTRY/ AD 1914 1918/ AD 1939-1945/ SANDHURST."
