BRIDLE WAY 1. 4430 COULSDON Woodcote Grove House, Woodcote Park TQ 2860 41/114 II 2. 1860s probably; a house of this name known to exist in C18 but no building shown in this place on Tithe Map, nor is a house mentioned in the Carew Sale Catalogue of 1859. South front of 2 storeys, 4 window bays. Slate hipped roof. Moulded eaves cornice. Stuccoed front. On 1st floor, 2-light casements with louvred shutters; on ground floor, 3 French casements and door with side lights; veranda supported on cast-iron trellis supports. 1 window bay to east return; veranda formerly continued into return and east again across a wing with 3 sash windows on 1st floor. West front of 2 storeys, 3 window bays. Later additions to this nucleus.
