Description
9 Kingsbury Square is a Grade II listed building that features a mid to late 18th century front attached to an older structure. The building has two storeys and is finished in colour-washed stucco resting on a projecting stone plinth. It has a wooden eaves cornice and an old tile roof with a ridge chimney positioned to the right of the centre. The front is irregular, consisting of five bays, with one blank bay on each floor and a recess on the ground floor. The first floor has glazing bar sash windows set in flush moulded frames, while the ground floor features late glazed sashes. The entrance is marked by a six-panelled door located in the second bay from the left, which is framed by a panelled architrave surround, corner blocks, and a pediment hood supported by cut brackets. The southeast bay appears to be part of No 1 Minster Street, which has a band over the ground floor and a brick block cornice that continues from No 1. Inside, there is a panelled dado in the front ground floor room to the left.
