Description
No 1 Minster Street is a building likely dating from the late 18th century, possibly incorporating an older core. It is two storeys high and constructed of painted brick, featuring a plinth. The first floor has a string course, and the eaves are adorned with brick modillions. The roof is slate, with a gable end chimney on the right and an eaves chimney on the left.
The right side of the building has three first-floor windows and two ground-floor windows, all of which are glazing bar sashes. The central first-floor window is a three-light oriel. To the left, there is a six-panelled door topped with a radiating fanlight, flanked by narrow pilasters with scroll brackets supporting a semi-circular hood. The roof extends to align with the pitch of No 9 Kingsbury Square, which is connected to this building. No 9 is two storeys high, with one range of windows on the first and attic floors and a band above the ground floor, featuring a small window at the junction with No 1.
