Description
This is a circa 18th century row of six houses, numbered 44 to 48, located on the north side of Christ Church Road. The houses are two storeys high and each has two windows. They are constructed of brick with a pantile roof. The ground floor windows are topped with segmental curves. The windows above are square. Number 44 features a 19th-century square bay window at ground floor level, and a tiled hood over the front door. Sash windows are present, retaining their original glazing bars. Number 46 has a simple bracketed hood over the front door. Flush framed casements are found at number 48, with most of the original glazing bars still in place. The left-hand first-floor window at number 48 is blind, with a flush framed casement retaining most of its glazing bars.
