Description

This outbuilding, built in 1868 by A.W. Blomfield, now serves as a garage for The Halsteads. It was likely originally stables. The building has mass concrete walls, which are stuccoed externally, and a tiled roof. It is a single storey in height with a dormer window. The building is three bays wide. Inside the central bay, the original in-situ shuttered concrete is clearly visible. The concrete in the other bays is largely plastered over and features later painted murals.
