Description

The Homestead is a building dating from around 1720, located on the north side of Church Road in Barnes, SW13. It is two storeys high with an attic and features five windows. The structure is made of brown brick with red dressings and has a central doorcase that is canopied and supported by fluted Doric pilasters. The building has modillioned eaves and a tiled roof with two dormers. There is a later two-storey side extension that has horizontal boarding and a tiled roof, as well as a further 20th-century brick-built two-storey extension with three bays. The property also includes a wall and railings along the Church Road frontage.
