  1. C18 brick house, with slate mansard roof. Four storeys and dormers, 4 windows wide. Two modified Victorian shop fronts set well forward to ground floor. Above, square headed windows with gauged brick heads. Casements to first floor leading to balconies. Sashes above, with glazing bars. String course at second floor level; heavy cornice and parapet. Gothic iron window guards to second floor. Interior not seen. Listed partly for its importance as part of the Georgian group on Hill Rise.
