Description

No 6 Hill Rise is an early 18th-century building that stands two storeys high with a basement, located behind a modern shop. Although it appears to have been repaired in the late 19th century, as indicated by the slate roof and the brickwork of the front wall, the staircase remains largely original, and the top floor features original panelling. There is a bow-fronted extension from the 18th or 19th century at the first floor level on the front elevation. The basement includes brick barrel vaulting.
