Description

Holbrook House is an 18th-century building with a later 18th-century, bow-fronted wing. The main part of the house is three storeys high with an attic, and has four windows across, with three dormers to its slated mansard roof. It is constructed of stock brick, with the ground floor and entrance door recently reconstructed. A parapet with cornice and blocking course tops the building. A two-storey wing extends from the main block, again with a similar parapet. The ground floor of this wing has also been recently reconstructed. A further bow-fronted wing, now Nos. 40 and 42 and separately listed, is located to the right.
