GV II

Three churchyard monuments, c.1818, one to Edward Cummings Esq. d.1818, one unidentified, one to Mary Carter, Spinster c.1818. Chest Tombs. Portland stone, with York stone and marble ledger slab and inscription panel. Three identical chest tombs, originally along the northern edge of the churchyard.

Edward Cummings Esq d. 1818. Portland stone chest with inscribed York stone ledger slab. Latticed angle pilasters, raised inscription panel with drip mould on south side. Remains of protective coats of limewash evident. (Catalogue no. 276) Unidentified, c. 1818. As above, but with a badly weathered marble inscription panel. (Catalogue no. 277) Mary Carter, Spinster, c.1818. As above, but with damage to ledger, south- west corner and drip mould. (Catalogue no. 278)
