Description

The tomb of Mary Karze is located in the churchyard of St Peter's Church and dates from 1686. This churchyard monument features a headstone made of Portland stone, which has a tall scrolled top that encloses a relief of a skull and crossbones. The inscription reads: "here lyeth the bodey of Mary Karze who died ye 16th of April 1686."
