Description
The tomb of John Rudd is located in the churchyard of St Peter's Church. It is a chest tomb dating from 1775, made of Portland stone with a Pennant stone ledger. The tomb features fluted angle pilasters with cabling that flank the fielded side and end panels. An inscription on the ledger slab reads, "this stone was given to his memory by Caroline Baroness of Greenwich," who was the daughter of the Duke of Argyll.
