TQ1873 PETERSHAM 22/25/10115 Tomb of John Rudd in the churchyard of 10-APR-00 St Peter's Church

GV II

Churchyard monument. Chest tomb to John Rudd, died 1775. Portland stone chest, Pennant stone ledger. Fluted angle pilasters with cabling flank fielded side and end panels. Inscription on ledger slab states; this stone was given to his memory by Caroline Baroness of Greenwich', (daughter of the Duke of Argyll). Catalogue No. 485.
