Description

The memorial to Joseph Wilton, Royal Academician, is located in the churchyard of St Mary in Wanstead. Erected in 1803, it is designed in the form of a Grecian aedicule made of Portland stone. The memorial features battered sides and incised panels, with a round-arched entrance and a domed top adorned with corner acroteria.
