Description

This drinking fountain, built in 1897, is an open three-sided structure that features a bracketed gable and flat Gothic arches on each side. One of the gables displays a medallion of Queen Victoria. The fountain has a circular spirelet covered in shingles and is constructed from hard red brick with a splayed granite plinth. It includes a drinking fountain on one side and a horse trough on the roadside. This structure commemorates Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee.
