Description

No. 125 High Street is a building that likely dates from the early 18th century. It has two storeys and is two windows wide, constructed from multi-coloured stock brick. The building features string courses above the ground floor and first floor windows, and it has a pitched roof that is concealed by a parapet. The double hung sash windows have exposed box framing and are set under segmental brick arches, retaining their original glazing bars. The front elevation is partially hidden by a later single-storey shop extension. This building is included for its group value.
