Description

The pedestal and statue of Neptune, dating from the 18th century, is located 10 yards southeast of the walled garden in Morden Hall Park, London Borough of Merton. The statue is made of Portland stone and depicts a standing figure of Neptune, who is crowned and draped, with his right foot resting on the mouth of a dolphin. The statue is set on a rectangular bombe-shaped base.
