Description

No. 435 Hook Road is a 2-storey house inscribed with the date 1669, although it has undergone later alterations. It features a two-part baffle or lobby entry. The front of the house has been refaced with painted brick, likely concealing a timber-framed structure behind it. The sides and back of the building are weather-boarded. The roof is steeply pitched and covered with pantiles, and there is a central chimney. A modern projecting porch has been added to the entrance.
