Description

The remains of the old Church of St. Mary are located in the Garden of Rest in Long Ditton. The structure dates from the 17th and 18th centuries and features stone tomb slabs alongside 18th and 20th-century brick walling, which is approximately 2½ feet high and arranged in a cruciform plan. The remains measure 70 feet in length and 45 feet in width. The east end wall has been built up to serve as a war memorial, and there is a small iron railing with an arched gate at the west end.
