Description

This is part of the former Coty factory premises, located about 50 meters southeast of the junction with Harlequin Avenue in Isleworth. The building was designed in 1933 by Wallis, Gilbert and Partners and features a modernistic style. It is symmetrical and constructed with a rendered finish on a steel frame, standing two stories high on a raised bank. The entrance and a vertical window above it are set back beneath a continuous shaped parapet, which has triple horizontal clasping motifs in the corners. On each side, there are long, horizontal, small-pane metal windows, which are only interrupted by slight pillars and wrap around the corners to continue along shorter return fronts. The tall continuous parapet has raised features at the corners and a quasi-pediment over the name panel in the center. Parts of the building at the rear are not of special interest.
