Description

Nos 10 to 14 on Strand on the Green are a row of 18th-century cottages. Nos 10 and 11 are built of red brick, No 12 is stucco, and the remainder are brown brick. The cottages are two storeys high with an attic, featuring one window each, except for Nos 13 and 14, which have two windows each. The ground floors have cambered relieving arches and a mix of casement and sash windows. Each cottage has plain door hoods supported by brackets, a moulded wood cornice, machine tile roofs, and one dormer each. Nos 10, 11, and 12 have been repaired in a modern Neo-Georgian style, while Nos 13 and 14 are in a derelict condition.
