Description

Kew Railway Bridge, opened in 1869, was designed by W R Galbraith. It is a lattice girder bridge supported on iron piers in three stages. The structure features a round base that carries a drum with four engaged columns. Above track level, there is a tabernacle with an arched roof, which is supported by paired columns that frame an elaborate cast-iron screen.
