Description

The railings belong to Picton House, an 18th-century building. The railings are constructed of wrought iron. Picton House itself is built of brown brick with red brick dressings, and is two storeys high. It features two double-hung sash windows with flat arches. The front door has an architrave, a traceried fanlight above, narrow panelled side pilasters, and moulded brackets supporting a hood. An eaves cornice runs along the top of the building, and a band separates the two storeys.
