Description
The Old Ship House, located at 56 Strand on the Green, is a late 18th-century building constructed of brown brick, with the ground floor painted. It is a two-storey structure with projecting sides, featuring a 1:1:1 arrangement of double-hung sash windows with flat arches. The building has two bays on the ground floor and a central window accessed by steps. A continuous cornice hood shelters the windows, and there is a parapet above. The roof is covered with Welsh slate. The Old Ship House forms a group with numbers 52 to 56 on Strand on the Green.
