Description

No. 71 Strand on the Green is a late 18th-century stucco building. It consists of a two-storey main section with four double-hung sash windows, one of which lacks glazing bars. To the left is a three-storey wing with three windows spanning all floors, featuring wooden trellis balconies on the first and second floors. A further one-storey, two-window wing is located to the left of the main building's bay. The entrance has a four-panel door within a reeded doorcase, topped with a semi-circular fan. A decorative band runs along the first-floor level, and the building is finished with a parapet. Nos. 64 to 71 form a group.
