Description

The garden wall at Syon Park is a structure from the mid-18th century or earlier, extending for 500 metres between the main vehicular entrance and Syon House. It is made of red brick and stands 6.5 metres high, featuring some rebuilt and projecting copings. This wall is noted for being a very complete example of a parkland wall and is considered a significant part of the historic landscape designed by 'Capability' Brown.
