Description
Lingard House and Thames View are a pair of early 18th century houses located on Chiswick Mall, W4. They are constructed of brown brick and rise to three storeys, featuring a tile roof and one dormer. Each house has a symmetrical facade with three double-hung sash windows on one side and two on the other, all set in surrounds with flat arches. The entrances are adorned with doorhoods supported by brackets, leading to four fielded and two flush panel doors. There are brick bands at the floor levels and below the parapet. Lingard House slightly projects and includes a dormer and a door with an attractive tranceried fanlight. Thames View features a central French window on the first floor, complemented by good wrought iron balconettes.
