Description

The Shovel Inn is an early 19th-century building that consists of two sections, each two storeys high with two windows. It features low-pitched slated roofs and roughcast walls. The building has sash windows with glazing bars, with the ground floor windows set in canted bays. There are three half-glazed doors, one of which is located in a pent porch. Additionally, there is a full basement storey at the back. The Shovel Inn, along with the Toll House and Nos 73 and 75, forms a group of buildings that hold historical significance together.
