Description

Old Mill House is a mid-18th century house that stands two storeys high and features five windows. The building is constructed of dull red brick, accented with bright red brick dressings. It has a slated roof with a moulded eaves cornice. The sash windows, which have glazing bars, are set within exposed moulded frames and are topped with gauged brick arches; the arches on the ground floor are cambered. Below the first-floor windows, there are aprons made of carved brick. A modern central porch has been added to the front. At the rear, there is an early 19th-century extension made of yellow stock brick. The house is currently in a dilapidated condition.
