Description

The Beeches is an 18th-century house located on the west side of High Street in Cowley. It is a two-storey building with an attic and features five windows. The exterior is made of pinkish brick with red brick dressings and has bands at the first and second floor levels. The hipped roof has three dormers, two of which are modern, and is covered in modern tiles. A dentil cornice adds detail to the roofline. The house has sash windows with glazing bars, which are set under flat gauged brick arches. There is a Doric porch with a panelled reveal leading to a modern half-glazed door. Additionally, there is a small pent extension on the right side of the building.
