Description

This is an early 19th century terrace of six houses, numbered 24 to 28 Market Street. Each house is two storeys high with a single window. The roofs are low-pitched and slate-covered. The facades are built of multicoloured stock brick, with a rendered plinth. The sash windows have glazing bars and are set in reveals lined with stucco. Above the doors are reeded cornices and rectangular fanlights with glazing bars. Narrow, flat pilasters support curved brackets and cornice hoods. The doors are six-panelled. The terrace is in excellent condition.
