Description
This is an early 19th century terrace of six houses, numbered 111 to 117 Coniscliffe Road. The houses are each two storeys high with a basement. Numbers 111 and 113 have three windows each, while the others have two. The houses are constructed of pink brick, with low-pitched slate roofs and ridge stacks, with a hip at the left end. A band runs along the first-floor sill level. The recessed sash windows have glazing bars, and are topped with stucco lintels and stone sills. Each house has a four-panel door set within a doorcase featuring engaged fluted columns and an entablature, with a cornice head and a patterned oblong fanlight above the door. Some original wrought iron hand and area railings remain.
