Description
The north-west entrance gate to Connaught Barracks is an early 19th-century structure featuring square brick piers that have stone plinths, cornices, and blocking courses. It includes a decorative wrought iron overthrow with a central lamp holder. The wrought iron double gates are mounted on hinges attached to stone jambs that are set into the sides of the piers.
