Description

This is an early 18th century house located on Crooms Hill. It is three storeys high with a basement, and originally had five windows. The house is constructed of red brick, with brick bands marking the first and second floors; the second floor and much of the parapet have been rebuilt. The basement is stuccoed. The windows are replacement sash windows with glazing bars, set in flush frames with gauged flat brick arches. The front door consists of four fielded panels and two flat panels, topped by a plain fanlight, within a doorcase made of panelled pilasters and console brackets supporting an open pediment. A fluted cornice head to the door continues behind the consoles. Wrought iron area railings are present.
