Description

No. 102 Manor Way is a tall villa built around 1840. It has three storeys and a basement, featuring three windows on the front. The building is constructed of multicoloured stock brick with a painted front. It has a low-pitched, hipped slate roof that is concealed behind a parapet. The corners of the villa are accentuated with rusticated quoins, which have lion masks above them. There are similar lion masks on either side of the slightly projecting central section, which likely supported a cornice that is now missing.

The centre windows on both the upper floors are recessed sashes with glazing bars in plain reveals. The second-floor side windows are three-light sashes with glazing bars set in flat stucco surrounds. The first floor, ground floor, and basement side windows are arranged in canted bays, each holding three sash windows with glazing bars and topped with moulded cornices.

There is a continuous cornice at the first-floor level that runs around a projecting, stuccoed Gothick porch. The entrance features seven steps with stuccoed side walls leading to a doorway under a four-centred arch with a drip mould. A similar arch is found above the double doors, which are topped with a cornice head and a fanlight adorned with Gothick bars.
