Description
Number 6 College Approach, built in 1836, is a three-storey building with cellars and two windows. It features a stucco exterior with a cornice and parapet. The sash windows, which have glazing bars, mostly have plain reveals. The first floor has long windows that open onto a balcony, which is adorned with a wrought iron railing above a first-floor band. The ground floor has segment-headed openings, and the entrance includes a six-panel door topped with a cornice head and a fanlight that also has glazing bars. The property is enclosed by spearhead area railings. This building is part of a group with Nos 37 and 37A King William Walk, contributing to the architectural character of the South Side of College Approach.
