Description
No. 45 Blackheath Park is a villa built between 1830 and 1840, featuring two storeys and a basement with three windows. It has a low-pitched, hipped slate roof supported by paired brackets at the eaves. The exterior is made of multicoloured brick with a stuccoed front, adorned with an anthemion and palmette frieze. The windows on the first floor are recessed, with the central window set in a long recess that also embraces the central door. The ground floor windows are located in square recesses and rest on a basement plinth, with console bracketed cornices above them. All but the central first-floor window have blind cases. Access to the villa is via four steps leading to a prostyle Doric porch, which features fluted columns and pilasters, and a four-panel door. There is also a cast iron handrail and area railings.
