Description
Nos 33 to 36 King William Walk, built around 1840, are three-storey buildings with two windows each. They are constructed of stucco and feature a parapet that conceals the roof. The second floor has a cill band, while the ground floor is banded and rusticated. The first and second floor sash windows, which have glazing bars, are topped with shaped lintels. The first floor windows have projecting bracketed cills adorned with cast iron guards that display an anthemion and palmette pattern. The ground floor sash windows, which have been replaced, have plain reveals and also feature glazing bars. The doors consist of a stoutly beaded panel design and include small inner pilasters, a cornice head, a plain rectangular fanlight, and a simplified entablature surround. Nos 33 to 37 together form a group.
