Description

The wall running west from just west of the entrance lodge to Millfield House, part of St David's Hospital, is a tall red brick structure dating from the 18th century. It features a curved slope to the coping, with bricks laid on their sides, and has ten additional courses added above. There are some later buttresses at the western end. The wall has been breached and repaired in one location during the 19th century. At the western extremity, there is a curved ramp leading down to a gate pier. This wall forms part of the northern boundary of the hospital grounds.
