Description

The garden wall, gatepiers, and gates located to the south of Michendon Lower School were built in 1910 by H G Crothall. The structure features red brick with stone coping. It consists of square piers connected by low walls that are topped with plain wrought iron railings. There are two pairs of tall gatepiers that have gadrooned coping and are topped with polygonal lanterns. The ornamental iron gates complete the design. This listing is noted for its group value.
