Description
The building is a swimming pool with a tiled surround and a plant room, constructed in 1934 for the Bell Property Company. It features a concrete structure with yellow tiles, while the plant room is made of painted brick and has a hipped roof covered with green pantiles. The pool itself is rectangular and lined with concrete, and on the south side, there is a central shaped pediment adorned with a lion's head fountain. The surrounding area has tiled and concrete paving, with the tiling being apsidal at the east end. The single-storey plant room on the south side has three round-arched windows with glazing bars, with the central window being larger, and it also includes board doors on the returns. Originally, the swimming pool had a diving board at the east end.
