Description

This is a late 18th-century pair of buildings located on Norwood Road in Southall. They are constructed of brown brick with an old tile roof. The buildings are three storeys high and two bays wide each. Each bay has four double-hung sash windows set in reveals, with cills and yellow brick flat, gauged arches. The entrances feature round-headed doorways with fanlights above. A dentil cornice runs along the top of the building. Number 196 has a one-bay extension to the right, which includes recesses. Number 198 has a one-bay wing with a garage incorporated into the ground floor.
