Description
Friars Lawn, located on Norwood Green Road, is a pair of late 18th century houses. They are built of brown brick and stand three stories high with a semi-basement. The façade features a symmetrical arrangement of windows, with one window on the left side lacking glazing bars, while the others are double-hung sashes with rubbed flat arches. The central projection of the building is accentuated by plaster quoins at the corners.
Stone steps lead up to semi-circular arched doorways, which are adorned with sidelights, traceried fanlights, archivolts, and reeded pilasters, with each doorway featuring a six-panel door. The first and second floor windows on the right side also have reeded pilasters. The building is topped with a parapet and has a hipped slate roof.
