Description
The Welches consist of two early to mid-18th century houses, now used as separate dwellings. Each house is two storeys high with an attic, and has a single window facing the front. They are characterized by their wide proportions. The roofs are steeply pitched and hipped, with sprocketed eaves that have been renewed with modern tiles. Two flat dormers are present. The first floor is rendered, while the ground floor is clad in weatherboarding. The windows are sash windows, one of which dates to the 18th century, and are set within exposed moulded frames. A modern two-storey extension, set back from the main building, is located to the north of No. 2.
