Description

This is a pair of semi-detached houses, numbered 64, 65, 66, and 1 Acacia Road, located in Westminster and dating from the mid-19th century. The houses are constructed of stucco with slate hipped roofs extending to the eaves. The design is of two storeys, with a basement and later additions of dormers. Each house is two windows wide, although the centre bays of each pair are wider and project slightly forward, featuring rusticated quoins to the upper floor. Steps lead to the entrances in the outer bays, and the ground floor windows have rusticated architraves. The windows are square-headed with sash glazing and margin lights. A cornice sits above the ground floor. Bracketed eaves are present. Linking bays of one storey and two bays connect the pairs, these linking bays are rusticated, and contain round-headed windows. A similar bay is located to the left of number 1.
