Description

This is a house located on Connaught Square, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick in a Flemish bond pattern, which has been painted. The ground floor is channelled stucco, and the house has stucco window dressings and a parapet coping. The building is arranged over four storeys and a basement, with three bays. The front door is located in an elliptical recess, and is half-glazed. Flanking the door are segmental-arched sash windows with glazing bars. Above these, a further set of sash windows with glazing bars are set within architraves, each with a hood supported on consoles to the first floor. Basement railings feature spearhead and urn finials, ramped up to the steps leading to the entrance.
